Updates for October 3-7

House Meeting Information -
Planners - Please sign your child's planner every evening.  The notes section found on the bottom of the page is where Ms. Utech and Mrs. Brenner will be writing any late work your child may have.   Continue to monitor the bottom of the page and talk with your child regarding how they can continue to show responsibility and independence.
Clubhouse Log - We started a Clubhouse log where students are given six hall passes (bathroom, drinks, and lockers) to use during the month of October.  Students also have dates written on the right side and will receive a punch on the card if they are unprepared or missing work.   Our goal is to have students have six or less hall passes used and less than 5 unprepared/missing work to attend the monthly incentive.
Messages to Child - If you need to get a message to your child, please call the main office and they will make sure that your child gets that message.  Try to work out where your child is going before they leave for the school day.
Email - Please be mindful that we are trying our best to teach your child during the day and have other staff obligations/meetings about students and are not always able to check our email as often as we might like.  We will do our absolute best to respond to your message within 24 hours.
Birthday Treats - If you choose to send a birthday treat, we will pass them out during our WIN time and have approximately 28 students in each class.  Please send 28 treats if you choose to celebrate your child's birthday here at school.
Friday, October 7th - No School
District Wide Band Concert
Will be held on Tuesday, October 18th at 7:30 at BayPort.
Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on October 18th during the evening, October 25th during the evening, and October 27th during the morning.  We do encourage your child to be present in the conference because we like to help them take ownership of their learning.   Please be on the watch for information regarding conference sign up from the office.
October 18-28 - Giving Tree Food Drive at Lineville
The Giving Tree's shelves are empty right now and need your help!  Please consider bringing in items during parent/teacher conferences!
The Giving Tree is in great need of oatmeal, soup, boxed potatoes, and canned pasta (spaghetti-o's, ravioli, etc.)
Saturday, October 22 (3:30-5:30)  Lineville Fall Swim and Movie
This event will be held at the Howard Suamico Community Pool for registration information, please ask your child to log in to Schoology and show you the Roadrunner Way group to see a flyer and a link to register.  If you have any questions regarding this event, please call the main office.
