Updates for March 13-17

Monthly Incentives

This Friday, we will be having our February Incentive, watching a movie and having snacks.  The students are currently voting on the movie.   The students voted to have a “potluck” type snack.  If you feel you would like to send in a snack, send in enough for 20 students.  This way we won’t have as many leftovers.   Students may bring their own drink. 

On Friday, March 31^st we will be having our March Incentive, students who are eligible will be swimming in the pool from 1:00-2:45.  Students may wear swimsuits they would wear for Phy. Ed. class.

**Your child does know if they are able to come or not.  The expectations have been the same all year. If your child is unsure, encourage them to ask Mrs. Brenner or Miss Utech.**

Lineville Parent Club Seroogy’s Fundraiser

Students were given a Seroogy’s order form that was stapled into their planners.  On the front of the packet, there was information regarding how to handle the money and when it is due.  All order forms must be turned into the office on or before Monday, March 27^th (late orders cannot be accepted). 

DARE Graduation

Will be held at 1:30 on Tuesday, March 28^th.  Information regarding the DARE graduation was sent in last week’s email.

Shadow Day Application

Students will be mentors to the fourth graders from four of the five elementary schools.  We will be given them an application to fill out if they would like to be a mentor.  Not all students will be selected due to the amount of fourth graders being less than what we have for students.   All applications are due on or before March 27^th at 3:00 PM.  We will speak to the children who are chosen and let them know what day they will have a student shadow.  If your child is not chosen, please encourage your child to come and have a conversation with Mrs. Brenner or Miss Utech.
