November 7-11 Updates

Homework
With the holiday season approaching, busy schedules and hectic weekends are starting to fill your schedule.  Please be mindful to continue to sign planners and check the bottom to see if there is any late work.  As teachers, we have noticed an increase in late assignments/excuses of why work has not been completed; please help us combat this by asking your child if they have homework and setting aside a specific time to complete homework on those busy nights/weekends.  Thank you for your support in your child’s education.

POPS Concert
On Wednesday, November 9th, the fifth grade will be attending the POPS concert at Bay Port High School watching the Bay Port High School choir perform.  We will be at the concert between 12:40 to 3:00.  This is an amazing event that we are able to attend and enjoy every year.

VETERAN’S ASSEMBLY
Lineville Intermediate will once again be having a Veteran’s Day Assembly on Thursday, November 10th at 1:45PM in the Lineville gym.  We would like to invite family and friends that have served or are currently serving our country to attend our program and stay for a social with light refreshments after.  Parents will be able to take their student home after if they wish.

Early Release Dates
This week, Friday, November 11th, we will be having an early release dismissal – students will have lunch provided, please make sure that your child knows where they are going when they come to school that day.  Students will be dismissed at 1:08.

On Wednesday, November 23rd, we will also be having an early dismissal however during this day, students will not be provided lunch and will be dismissed at 11:50.  Please plan accordingly.

Veteran’s Dinner
Bay Port High School's Student Council and Military Club will be hosting a Veterans dinner Friday, November 11 from 4:30-6:30 in the Union at Bay Port. The dinner is free to all Veterans and their families. It will include salad, pasta, garlic knots, dessert, and entertainment. If you are a Veteran and/or know of Veterans, please pass the information on. We ask that you RSVP by Thursday, November 10 via voicemail with your name and number of attendees @ (920) 662-7105 or email us at bpstuco@gmail.com
