Please take time to check your student’s cord and block to make sure it is still working.  Please check the picture below to make sure the cord and block match.  All parts returned need to be Apple brand.  The block must be an iPad block and not an iPhone block.  If the cord and/or block are not returned or are damaged, the cost is $38 for the set or $19 each component.
If you have any questions regarding whether or not it is the proper cord or it hasn’t been working, send the block and cord in a Ziploc bag with your child’s name on it and we will have them bring it to the library where they will evaluate what needs to be done.

iPad Update – Must be done by June 6th
Students should update their iPads at home to the iOS version 10.3.2 – Students can check this by going into Settings – General – Software Update – if there is a red circle – it needs to be updated.  This will need to be updated by June 6th.

Updates for April 24-28

Goal progress for Reading
Students have read 615 books out of our 548 goal (80% of the goal).  Because students have reached their 80% goal as a group, we have scheduled their pool party (this will be held on May 12th from 12:00-1:30) and if students hit their 100% goal of 637 books as a team, we will plan their pizza party. How amazing is this!

Headphones/Earbuds
It is critical that students have headphones/earbuds for FORWARD testing.  Students will be needing headphones/earbuds for their English/Language Arts test.  If you are not able to get a pair of working headphones/earbuds, please email either Miss Utech atbrenutec@hssd.k12.wi.us or Mrs. Brenner at dawnbren@hssd.k12.wi.us

Tuesday, April 25th through Thursday, April 27th – Students will have FORWARD testing from 8:30-10:30, please try to schedule appointments around this.

FORWARD Testing:
It is important for students to have a charged (100%) iPad for testing.  It is important to ensure students have eaten something for breakfast and gotten a good night’s rest.  If a student would like to bring in gum or mints for the testing time ONLY, they are allowed to do that.  Please be mindful that it will be silent during testing so sending in gum/mints in containers or wrappers is distracting to other students.  It is almost best to put them in a Ziploc bag unwrapped.

Friday, April 28th – No School

Tuesday, May 9th – Lineville’s Got Talent – 6PM at BayPort PAC

Tuesday, May 16th and Wednesday, May 17th – Students will have MAP testing from 8:30-10:30, again please try to schedule appointments around this.
